The Pamplico Public Works Department operates the Town's water and sewer systems.

The Town's water system serves approximately 616 customers both inside and outside the town. The system includes 2 water wells and a 200,000 gallon water tank.  The Town is currently seeking resources to construct a second water tank, to provide an emergency connection with the City of Johnsonville water system, and to provide services to approximatley 18 residences on E. Shirley Road.  The Town recently completed the Seven Mile Road Water Line Project that extended the Town's quality water services to approximatley 40 additional residences outside the municipal boundaries.  The SC Commerce Department provided a Community Development Block Grant to assist with this water system expansion.

The Town's sewer system includes a state-of-the-art treatment facility located off River Road near the Great Pee Dee River approximatley 2 miles east of Pamplico.  The Town's system serves  approximatley 470 customers including Florence County School District Two facilities on S.C. 51 South.
